Even Or Odd number check

Accessing Elements

A number is even if it is divisible by two, and odd if it is not divisible by two.

Some of the even numbers are −

2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16

Some of the odd numbers are −

1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17

program code:

#include <iostream>
using namespace std;
int main()
{
    int num=0;
   //taking user input
    cout << "Enter any non-zero Number to be checked: ";
    cin >> num;

   if(num % 2 == 0)
   {
        cout<<num<<" is even";
   }
   else
   {
       cout<<num<<" is odd";
   }
   return 0;
}
Output:
Enter any non-zero Number to be checked: 34
34 is even

In the code, we use the if-else block to determine whether the entered number is even or odd.
