A program to compute the sum of a given series 1 + 1/2^2 + 1/3^3 + …..+ 1/n^n.
For this, we will be given the value of n, and our task will be to add up each term, beginning with the first, to find the sum of the given series.
Program code:
#include <iostream>
#include <math.h>
using namespace std;
//calculating the sum of the series
double calc_sum(int n)
{
int i;
double sum = 0.0;
for (i = 1; i <= n; i++)
sum += 1/ pow(i, i);
return sum;
}
int main()
{
int n;
cout<<"Enter the value of n : ";
cin>>n;
double res = calc_sum(n);
cout << res << endl;
return 0;
}
Enter the value of n : 5
