APIs Introduction

All new apps/services have some kind of API and almost every app uses at least one API. An API provides an interface between two applications so that they can talk to each other.

If you have APIs in API Manager, you can continue using API Manager to add APIs to Anypoint Platform. You also continue using API Designer as your RAML editor:

For existing designs in API Designer, continue using the API Designer. For new API design, if you have the November 2017 release, Design Center is recommended.
