Flow Control and Scope Operations in DataWeave
Flow control is used when you want to execute certain parts of your code in some situations, while not executing others. In other words, it’s a way to add logic to your scripts.
You can use the following operators within any DataWeave expression:
In this tutorial we will go over some of the tools DataWeave offers for this, using what we learned on the previous one around logical operators.
We’ll go over if/else constructs and the basics of pattern matching.
Before you begin, note that 2.x versions of DataWeave are used by Mule 4 apps. For DataWeave in Mule 3 apps, refer to the DataWeave version 1.2 documentation. For other Mule versions, you can use the version selector in the DataWeave table of contents.
